Data Collection

LeafAI collects the following data to provide the plant identification service:

• Uploaded images: Photos you submit for leaf identification are sent to the LeafAI backend for processing.
• Firebase authentication info: When you create an account or sign in, LeafAI receives your email address and a unique user identifier through Firebase Authentication.
• Identification history: Results of your leaf identifications are stored so you can access them later.

How Your Data Is Used

• Uploaded images are used solely for plant identification and are not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising.
• Authentication data is used to manage your account and associate your identification history with your profile.
• LeafAI uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand general usage patterns and improve performance. These tools do not track individual users.

Data Retention

Your identification history is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual history entries at any time from your history page.

Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and may be retained for a limited period to support your history records.

Third-Party Services

LeafAI uses Firebase (by Google) for authentication and Vercel for hosting and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
